Ecosave Pay

Our brand, cut from paper. Ecosave Pay brand guidelines

How the Ecosave Pay name, logo, colours and type should look, wherever they appear. For the partners, press and printers who work with us.

A brochure a Manchester team made by hand.

Business energy is usually sold with gloss or with price tables. We'd rather look like what we are: one UK team on the end of the phone, looking after the bills that go out and the takings that come in.

So everything we make looks cut from coloured paper and laid on warm stock, with real places and plain words. Every rule on this page comes from the four ideas below.

The Peveril of the Peak pub on Great Bridgewater Street in Manchester, tiled in yellow and green, with hanging baskets under the sash windows.

Peveril of the Peak, Great Bridgewater Street. A real Manchester place, trimmed with scissors and laid on paper.

  1. Made by hand

A real team picks up the phone, so nothing we make should look generated, glossy or off the shelf.

Colour comes as cut paper with a fibre grain and scissor edges. Never gradients, blurred blobs or glows.

  2. Real and checkable

Trust is earned with things people can see for themselves, not with big promises.

Real UK places, photographed and captioned with a small story. Only figures we can back up. Plain English.

  3. Calm, not loud

The people we work with run busy businesses. Nothing should shout for their attention.

Generous space, one idea per section, one torn mint strip per headline, and one light from above so every shadow falls the same way.

  4. From Manchester

It's where we started in 2009 and where the team still sits.

Every page closes on the paper Manchester skyline at dusk, lit windows and a mint sun.

The logo

The globe and the words ECOSAVE PAY. Always use the files below as they are. Never redraw, retype or rearrange it.

Room to breathe

Leave clear space around the logo at least as wide as half the globe. Nothing else sits inside it.

Never too small

The wordmark is at least 120 pixels wide on screen and 30 mm in print. Below that, use the globe on its own, at 24 pixels or more.

The right version

The coloured logo on light paper; the reversed one on navy or busy photos. If it's hard to read, change the background, not the logo.

  • Don't stretch or squash it

  • Don't recolour it

  • Don't add dots, badges or effects

  • Don't crop the globe's ring

Colour

Blues and mint, cut as paper and laid on warm stock. Colour always arrives as a shape: a sheet, a strip, a scrap. Never as a gradient, a blur or a glow.
